Calm

Calm is the inner well,
Of infinity,
The symphony serenade,
Of cicadas chorus
Calm is the lullaby,
Gaia sings
And the humming,
Of a dragonfly’s wings
Calm is the still serenity,
Of dawn,
Inviting us to behold,
A new day
Calm is the promise,
Of hope renewed,
And peace bestowed,
Upon all souls
Calm is the sunset glow,
Upon a myriad of rivers,
The surrender of bodies,
In yogic repose
Calm is the subtle pulse,
Of summers tranquil ocean,
Calm is the entwined embrace,
Of every couple
And every whispered prayer,
Upon bended knee,
Calm is the sleeping night,
And awakening day
The silent bliss,
Of ten thousand meditators,
Calm is the healing balm,
For a weary world
And gentle enfolding.
Of peaceful grace,
Calm,
Is the place you belong
Free of worldly pain,
In perfect divine wholeness
Calm,
Is calling you home,
Upon winged heart
To sing your soul’s true song
Deep in the inner well,
Of infinity
